Follow the Money

West Virginia citizens should know who is contributing money to the campaigns of the state’s judges. The following research was conducted in order to determine who is supporting - and potentially giving the impression of influencing - Supreme Court candidates during their campaigns and their subsequent terms on the bench. The largest category of contributions to seated members of our court is large individual contributions from personal injury lawyers and their wives, spouses and employees. Information for each of the seated justices follows:
